The three towers: The bubblers are finally ready

Finally the three sound towers "The Bubblers" were ready, with differents pitches: Bass, contralto and soprano. This installation aims to create the sound curiosity and sharpen the sense of hearing. This sense, which is being gradually lost by civilization, is of crucial importance in the participation of this installation. The holes  installed in the body of the apparatus of  PVC, brings the desire to use the ear, the act of listening.

The “bubblers” consist of two PVC towers which, through the holes made along the pipes (listening points), arise the curiosity of hearing and invite people to listen to the different sounds.  Due to the water in the bottom, each listening point produces peculiar sounds.

                                                      Borbulhadores

Os "borbulhadores" são duas torres de pvc que instigam a curiosidade sonora através dos orifícios instalados ao longo da obra. Cada ponto de audição produzirá uma sonoridade diferente causada pelas borbulhas que saem da água que se encontra no fundo.
